Defended building. A former out building, now a children's play area, with one embrasure in the E side, two in N side facing the canal and one in the W side. The embrasures have been blocked.

A pillbox built as a red brick tower-like attachment to the pub buildings - either the strongpoint was especially constructed as an adjunct to the buildings and made to blend in with them, or it was disguised within buildings then exisiting: probably the former. Loopholes are on two levels. Two loopholes, upper and lower, are in the N face facing the canal; the E and W faces have one high loophole each. All the loopholes are now blocked.
