A pillbox variant, sometimes termed a 'Suffolk Square'. Internally there are concrete shelves but no anti-ricochet wall. There are two embrasures to each wall with the exception of the entrance wall with one embrasure.

Very large, square pillbox with two embrasures in each face. Brick shuttering inside and concrete shelves. Concrete block facing, probably used as shuttering. Faces towards sea (S). By footpath, with exterior and interior access.
