Pillbox 17, according to documentary evidence (Royal Fusiliers' map). This pillbox has slipped off the sand dune backing the coast and it now lies on the upper shore. Its concrete raft has cracked in two, but not separated: on each half, much of the hexagonal plan concrete block walling survives, but it has lost its roof and various assorted fragments lie scattered about the adjacent shore.

Pillbox. Coastal erosion has caused the pillbox to slip down onto the beach, and it is now situated just on the MHLW. It is split in two and its roof has gone.
