Type 25 pillbox [sic].
(Source: SMR 2000/07/20)
Circular pillbox, built against sea wall, and faced with the same type of stone the wall is constructed of. Ventilator on top. Embrasures, some 5 in number, all blocked. Lintels above most embrasures. Low unprotected entrance on SW side. Appears today to be used as a store. Red brick surrounds to most embrasures. NE embrasure is of a different design, slightly protruding, and with no lintel or brick surround.
