Rectangular pillbox (wood-shuttered) with guarded entrance and open section to east. 4 large slit type embrasures with 1 medium. No blast wall. No other examples of this type in area (or seen anywhere as yet) - must have been built to suit for a purpose. [Recorder suspects 'to defend possible landing strip?].
