Concrete type 22 pillbox facing SE. Brick shelter built over entrance door

A type 22 pillbox on the N bank of the Royal Military Canal at Ruckinge. Built of concrete and brick and still in good condition. Its direction is SE, and it has a brick shelter built over the entrance way.

Concrete-faced type 22 pillbox of a variant form with an attached brick (slab-roofed) entry porch. No access as just inside field fenced with barbed wire. The entry porch shows signs of collapse. Appears in good, clean condition.
