Type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered, situated in elevated position in trees overlooking the River Medway, with field of fire S and SE across river and valley.

Type 24 brick-shuttered pillbox amongst trees on slope overlooking the river. Faces E. The forward edges of its base are exposed. No access without trespass - on land of Penshurst Place Estate.
