Originally a 6-sided pillbox, but outside 'rounded' by weather and farming. Larger than average pillbox. 6 embrasures (2 on sea side with approx. 8ins gap; 4 on land side approx. 16ins gap]. All had steel shutters; most are gone. Walls 28ins to 36ins thick. Blast wall at door, and internal brick ricochet wall.

Once hexagonal pillbox which now appears circular owing to weathering. It is of a variant form, with a curving entrance way. Six embrasures. Some iron embrasure surrounds survive, with at least one surviving visor inside. Faces E, with doorway on W side. Lower half still has pebble facing camouflage. Overgrown. Access only possible when field not in crop. Interior access possible.

Pillbox, the position of which is plotted from an oblique air photograph. The pillbox originally stood in a hedgerow at a point where four fields joined. The field boundaries have been removed in recent years.
