Brick-faced (exterior) octagonal type 27 pillbox with central well to mount an anti-aircraft gun. Faces NNW. Loopholed blastwall attached to main structure at roof level, and with entrances on either side. Chamfered roof edge. Small. stepped embrasures, with gas vents above them. Vertical wooden battens are in place on internal walls.The central well is approached from the inside by an iron rung ladder through steel doors still in position. Partially overgrown. Access possible at edge of field, with interior access.
