Assumed to be a type 22 pillbox, situated on S side of Limekiln Hill with field of fire S to beach. Brick-shuttered.
with PLAN drawn on form.

Standard type 22 brick-walled pillbox, with walls 19ins thick and approx. 7ft 6ins long. Reinforced concrete roof. Trunk of elder bush is growing through large hole in roof. The roof is split and corners broken, with brickwork exposed, but stable.
