Type 24 pillbox, with excellent interior condition. Brick-skinned, interior and exterior. Slots cut into walls inside below embrasures, 2 to each embrasure. Heavily overgrown with ivy. Forms part of the defensive line along the Uckfield to Ashurst railway defending the E approach to Jarvis Brook.

Brick-shuttered type 24 pillbox, in good, clean condition, externally and internally, if overgrown. Faces NE. Bricks of a darker red colour than adjacent pillboxes. Two steps down to entrance. Interior access possible.
