Large corrugated iron-shuttered pillbox, based upon an hexagonal design. Stands on a 3ft thick concrete base. Faces N up former line of canal. Entrance on road side. Interior access possible. A porch, shuttered with wood, was added to cover the E-facing doorway later in 1940 when the anti-tank island was laid out. [Information from David Hunt].
