Variant on a type 24 pillbox, built for its site at the SW end of the bridge. It faces E across the bridge rather than S, the direction of its companion on the other side of the road [UORN 6150]. The doorway is on the W side. Interior access is possible. Three embrasures are blocked; the rest are open. The embrasure to the right of the entrance is a splayed rifle port, that to the left a larger stepped one for LMG fire. The concrete facing is heavily matrixed with stone and shows evidence of having been shuttered with vertical wooden planking.
