Eight-sided plinth standing on a concrete base (4ft 2ins x 4ft 2ins x 7ins high) - the plinth itself rises another 2ft 9ins from the base, making a total height of 3ft 6ins. Across the top the distance from any face to its opposite face is 4ft. In the centre of the top is a threaded bolt 1in in diameter and 2ins high. There are slots cut in various of the faces, the deepest 11ins x 9ins x 5ins deep). [This is possibly the remains of a road block dragged out of position? - or a 'base end station' for a 2 x 4in battery?].
