South East Command: Stop Line (Oare to Warehorne) - This stop line (known as Grid Line LG - LH - LI - WA) ran from Oare to Charing to Ashford to Warehorne. There were forward defences and roadblocks in the section from Oare to Charing, but, from Charing to Warehorne, pillboxes sited in depth and camouflaged.
