Type 28 anti-tank gun emplacement, brick-shuttered. It appears to provide fire towards Southease Bridge. The main embrasure has a holdfast consisting of a circular plate 18.75ins diameter with 9 bolts for a Hotchkiss 6pdr QF [quick firing] gun. There is also a similar holdfast outside the pillbox.
