(Source: Field Visit 1997/10/21)
Emplacement for a 6pdr. QF Hotchkiss gun, now enclosed within the structure of a small pumping station. The principal direction of fire was E along the A44 Evesham road, but it could be traversed to fire N at the Pershore Bridges. It was originally an open-sided hexagonal structure beneath a thin concrete slab roof. The gun was mounted on a central holdfast which is no longer extant.

This structure shows as an apparent square shape on 1941 air photograph.
(Source: Air Photograph 1941/11/07)
