Brick built pillbox with concrete roof. Interior brick anti-ricochet wall. Embrasures constructed with bricks. Corrugated iron roof to help disguise structure as a farm building. Described as a 'block house' on 1940 plan [sketch map]. A hand written assessment of the Bransford Bridge defences by a Platoon Commander Ashley Break, with above sketch map (copy DIGITISED) dated 20 December 1940 are held by the Worcester and Sherwood Foresters Regimental Association at Norton Barracks.
