Spigot mortar mounting, built into a depression on National Trust land. It is complete, with round concrete base and stainless steel spindle. In the same depression is a 3-sided concrete shed possibly used as a ready store magazine.

Top of spigot mortar pillar, with steel pin, and remains of one ammunition locker. [The total structure may survive under the ground].
