Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Overview

The content of this dataset represents the results of the conference, workshops, bibliography and series of surveys undertaken by the project.

The archive contains a number of Project Documents including:

  • The project design
  • Five progress reports produced during the project
  • The final project report
  • A bibliography (presented as a spreadsheet)

The Conference and Workshops section contains the output from three VIA workshops and a conference including:

  • VIA 2011 Conference programme and abstracts
  • Programmes, abstracts and reports from VIA workshops held in 2008, 2009 and 2010

The Surveys section contains the documents and results from the:

  • 2010 Graphics Office Managers' (GOMS) survey
  • 2010 Snapshot survey
