Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The assemblages, from four barrows and the Stonehenge Cursus, are analysed and discussed in terms of their compositions, comparisons with known BA assemblages, and availability of raw flint. The technology goes some way to refute Bradley's view of decreasing technical competence of BA flintworkers; indeed there seems to be a flowering in EBA-MBA before extinction in LBA. Comparative evidence from non-barrow sites is needed, however. |
