Abstract:
Investigation of a Mesolithic site revealed dark occupation soils and an oval house structure consisting of a sunken floor surrounded by post-holes, with an entrance to the south. The earliest of three radiocarbon samples gave a calibrated date range of 7800-8300 BC. A small number of pits, lithic scatters including microliths, burins, scrapers and points, and some burnt bone were also identified.
