The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 summarises the results of excavations at three different sites around the area of Ditton Brook, which revealed traces of occupation and land use over several periods. Most of the deposition comes from the Mesolithic period, with fifty-two lithic flakes and blades being found at the sites along with three microliths. Other finds include a Middle Bronze Age pit, another pit possibly dating to the Iron Age and evidence of medieval tree clearance and field boundaries. Samples of charcoal and peat were radiocarbon dated, producing dates ranging from 4040--3690 cal BC to 970--1250 cal AD and evincing human activity between 1620--1130 cal BC and 970--1250 cal AD.
