Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Brings together scattered data on Meso sites with the aim of seeking some generalized patterning both in the character and distribution of settlements and in variations among stone tool assemblages. Three types of settlement and at least three distinct groups of assemblages are recognized. A theoretical discussion of the various factors likely to influence subsistence and settlement modes provides the basis for suggested explanations of some of this patterning. CB | |||||
