Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	At an open meeting convened by RESCUE to discuss the Stonehenge Master Plan, five speakers each gave a short presentation. The Council for British Archaeology (CBA) applauds the vision for the reunification of the Stonehenge landscape, and supports the Government and English Heritage as they attempt to solve the problems surrounding the existing road provision and visitor facilities at the site. However, it cautions that an informed decision on the suitability of plans cannot be made without sufficient detail. The position of the CBA regarding elements of the proposals is set out and an informed debate is strongly advocated. LD
