Abstract:
Two new finds, a dirk from Oxborough and a rapier from the Essex or Kent area, are located in the tradition of ceremonial weaponry in Britain and northern Europe. They are placed in the Plougrescant-Ommerschans, and newly isolated Caistor St Edmunds-Melle, series respectively. There is a `Scientific analysis' of samples from the weapons by Duncan Hook (242--5).
