Abstract:
Tracing of documentation relating to the 1719 discovery of weapons and casting matrices allowed recognition of four pieces surviving in the British Museum. These comprise a two-piece mould of Welby type and another of Meldreth type, together with one example of cast product from each. These are described along with other pieces now lost; they belong to Burgess's Ewart Park phase of LBA2.
