Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
There has been a great increase recently in the rate of production of archaeological data, due to an upsurge in work resulting from building development and developer funding. There is a need to structure and control this information whilst ensuring the means are found to exploit its potential to yield knowledge. The objective is to form a coherent framework of funding structures, information services, archives and archive reports, and to formulate procedures for the publication of summary data and the funding of all forms of post-excavation analytical work. |
