Abstract:
Documents the discovery of a large number of pieces of articulated and disarticulated Roman armour. The armour was mostly made of iron and included three crushed, but complete, armguards (manicae), a scale neck-guard from a helmet and a patch of scale armour seemingly from the shoulder of a lorica squamata. The finds are tentatively dated to the early-second century AD.
