The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:
Discusses the history of excavations at Wroxeter over the past hundred and fifty years. Noting that it is the least excavated of any major Roman town in Britain, suggests that further excavation is necessary to understand the site. Also suggests that this might provide an opportunity both for a long running training excavation, and for better presentation of the site to the public, possibly drawing inspiration from what has been done at Colonia Ulpia Traiana in Germany.
