Abstract:
Brief note on a short archaeological excavation which uncovered part of the southern precinct of the Abbey of St Thomas the Martyr in Dublin (founded in 1177). A boundary ditch had been dug in this area in the twelfth century, but was replaced by a stone wall and smaller ditch in the fourteenth. Finds included medieval tiles.
