Abstract:
Sets out a proposal for a radically new computer-based Dynamic Context Recording and Modelling System (DCRAMS). So that the computer is not restrained by conventional practices, the underlying principles of archaeological recording are identified and new models for data retrieval are considered. A development strategy for the new system is proposed.
