Abstract:		 Describes the find of the lower portion of a boat, recovered by a fishing trawler in 1993 (see also 97/987, 97/1865). The vessel is carvel-built, which is unusual in a region where the clinker tradition predominates. A likely felling date for the timbers, based on dendrochronology, is AD~1718 ± 9 years.
