Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
In this paper the results of the immunological analysis of nineteen experimentally generated artefacts coated with residue of known plant material are presented. The experimental samples were submitted to a commercial laboratory using the immunological technique of crossover immunoelectrophoresis. The results of the experimental blind-test suggest that archaeologists should view the immunological identification of plant residues from archaeological materials with caution. | ||||
