Notes a second cursus discovered by aerial reconnaissance in this area. Trial trenching produced intersecting pits that indicated regularly spaced oak posts. There were no finds but sufficient charcoal was retrieved to produce radiocarbon dates 3,960 \\textpm 70 BP and 4,070 \\textpm 70 BP. The whole is thus deemed a Neolithic or EBA palisaded enclosure. | ||||||||
