Abstract:		 Notes three sites: Linacres Farm (North Claines), characterised by Roman deposits including pits and an eroded trackway (aerial and topographic survey indicate a rural settlement site), along with smithing evidence, ceramic assemblage and medieval ridge and furrow; Stone Farm (Ombersley) comprised a circular pit, possible oven and industrial activity, all thought to be early medieval; finally, Barnhall Farm (Ombersley) including a possible Roman field boundary. Separately authored reports include: `Roman imported wares: samian (fabric 43)' by Brenda Dickinson & Derek Hurst (18--19), and `The ironworking debris from Linacres Farm' by Thomas Finney (21--2).
