Records the material found at what is thought to have been a Romano-Celtic temple. Particular attention is drawn to a very rare gold coin of Cunobelin and a small silver hand which appears to have held a spear and may have belonged to a figurine of Mars. A theory is put forward that the deposits may have been offerings to the god and that they are connected with an established cult in the area. | ||||
