Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Discusses a fragment from a dedication-slab, discovered during excavations in 1911--13 on the site of the principia of the fort at Castell Collen, Radnor. Considers that the lower half of the inscription previously interpreted as reading `I M A' might actually have been inscribed with `L M A', from the unit title [DE]LMA[TARVM]. It is suggested that the inscription records work was probably undertaken by Cohors IIII Delmatarum. | |||||||
