Abstract:		 A report on the known Bronze Age landscape in the area beginning with details of the excavation of the burial mound on Wilton Moor, Kirkleatham, in 1976, with reports on the pottery, `The flint' by Elizabeth Healey (30--3) and `The cremated bone' by Sally Parker (33--4). There is a short note on the examination of a small cairn on Wilton Moor, along with Court Green Howe, Kirkleatham and its pottery. The report on Mount Pleasant, Ormesby, includes reports on the pottery and `The flint' by Elizabeth Healey (36--7), followed by details of the Wilton Moor burial mound, Kirkleatham, and the burial mound within the defences of Eston Nab hillfort. There are details of seven more burial mounds, followed by a list of stray finds including `The flint' by Elizabeth Healey (40--2). Finally, appendices cover `Ord's list of Tumuli on the Eston Hills' (47), `Burial mounds and probable burial mounds on the Eston Hills' (47), and `Cairns on the Eston Hills' (47--8). IH
