Excavations were undertaken in advance of development at Dunbar Wharf in the Greater London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The remains of a sequence of buildings dating from the sixteenth century were revealed; these are presumed to have been used as warehouses until their demolition in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
