Observes that the majority of alterations to listed buildings in Scotland are undertaken without proper record -- unlike in England, where PPG 15 applies. This is backed up by a case-study of Canna Bothy, where a row of seemingly typical cottages has been shown to be a remnant of an imposing three-storey house. |
