Reports the results of a joint underwater survey around the thirteenth-century Lochindorb Castle, carried out in August 1993 by STUA and the Lochindorb Heritage Project (LHP). This was the island stronghold of Alexander Stewart, `Wolf of Badenoch'. Evidence of stone and timber structures was found, along with a small boat and trebuchet shot. The work was prompted by the discovery, in 1992, of a large ceramic jar on the loch bed. | ||||
