Abstract:		 Short report summarising recent findings from the excavation of a 3rd to 4th century Roman villa and survey of the surrounding landscape at Gatehampton Farm, Goring, Oxfordshire, run by the South Oxfordshire Archaeological Group with participation by the wider public. During 2011 and 2012 the focus was firstly on completing excavation work in a large trench at the western end of the villa building. Work also progressed eastwards, linking up with an older backfilled trench excavated in the 1990s. Combined with the geophysical survey of the eastern side of the site field, this has confirmed the continuation of the building in that direction and shown areas for further investigation.
