Abstract:
On the western foothills of Keadeen Mountain near the mouth of the Glen of Imaal in Co. Wicklow is a large enclosure, within which is a standing stone. Both within and outside the enclosure there are also several hut sites. The scale of the enclosure is comparable with the hillforts found in the general area. The enclosure and associated features are described and discussed in the light of the neighbouring hillfort tradition.
