Among the Sloane MSS in the British Library has been found an account, fuller than any other, of the finding of the LBA trumpet from Griffinrath, Co Clare (sometimes referred to as from Maynooth). The contemporary illustration indicates that the horn (if indeed there was only one) is of Coles Class 1. | |||
