Abstract:
Proposes five summary regional groups of Beaker pottery for Britain and Ireland, considering pottery from graves and non-grave contexts together. The groups are set in a quarter-millennium calendrical chronology that suggests that they may all have appeared around the mid-third millennium BC and that some survived until the second quarter of the second millennium BC.
