The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 TM 134443. Two barbed points of bone and antler, chance finds from the sand and gravel filling of the buried channel of the River Gipping, are discussed in relation to their congeners, particularly those with datable associations. Radiocarbon dating of organic material from the gravels suggests that the older point was deposited between 9400 and 7900 bc (pollen Zones II/III), and that the younger point could be contemporary with Star Carr (Zone IV).
