Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
An architectural and work-study analysis for LPC houses demonstrates that the social groups need not have been large to undertake the largest known task, but they would have needed to be permanently settled and cooperatively organized. No complex social hierarchy was required. A building such as Elsloo 32 could have been erected in about 2200 man-hours, the Ballynagilly house in about 550. |
