The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Definitive report of the rescue work on the ditches and interior of the 2.4ha enclosure. The double concentric interrupted ditches were mostly naturally filled, and features of the interior included pits, gullies, post- and stakeholes, with flints and pottery, including Ebbsfleet wares in secondary contexts. Two inhumations and some disarticulated human bones were found. The site was a focus of various activities including occupation, subsistence, exchange, enclosure/defence, burial, and ritual. There were also later prehistoric and Roman finds; post-Roman material was separately published.
