NS 597722. Total stripping of the interior confirmed that the fortlet was part of the original Antonine Wall structure, with no pre-Wall phase. Similar to the Duntocher fortlet, it probably contained 1-2 barracks and is best termed an "interval" fortlet like two others which fill similarly long gaps between forts on the Wall. Pottery and leather finds are catalogued. | ||||
